THE GUEST HOUSE
|
|
The main guesthouse is comprised of 6 large bedrooms, a guest lounge and a dining area. It has its own private entrance, so guests are free to come and go as they please without disturbing anyone.
With a mix of old-fashioned elegance and new warm colors, every room has its own charm. Each room also has its own layout, with a combination of queen-sized beds, king-sized beds and twin beds to meet your preferences. All beds feature new Simmons Beautyrest mattresses for a more comfortable sleep.

We have 2 new rooms with private bathrooms (soaker tub/shower, pedestal sinks, toilet, heated tiled floor, hair dryer, towels, and locally-made soap). Our other rooms have shared bathrooms where each two rooms share a full bath.
Our newly renovated rooms have the same style as the rest of the guest house but with the addition of their own bathrooms and private entrances.

Enjoy our warm atmosphere at the Wisteria Guest House Bed & Breakfast with such details as fresh-cut flowers from our garden, homemade bath salts, and our local handmade lavender soaps.

The Lounge
|
|
After a day of activities, relax in our large guest lounge. Meet the other guests and chat about your day, or simply curl up with a good book. We have a large collection of books to choose from, so feel free to browse through our collection while staying with us.
We also have cable TV and VCR, so you can still catch the news or watch your favourite program or video.
The dining area has three dining tables; when not in use, guests are welcome to use them for board games, card games, paperwork, etc.
The lounge also has a small fridge, microwave, and kettle for tea and hot chocolate.

Breakfast
|
|
In the morning, we serve a full 2-course breakfast in our dining area. Everyone is seated together at the dining tables, giving you the opportunity to meet other guests and to get to know your hosts.
Our menu changes daily so, if you are staying for more than one night, you’ll be sure to try something new each day.
Early risers can help themselves to coffee and tea. Then, at 9 am, we begin to serve breakfast. Pots of coffee and/or tea are set out, along with glasses of juice. The first course will be on the lighter side, something to wake up your taste buds. The second course is the hot breakfast – generous portions to get you going on your day.
For guests who have to leave early and in the winter season, a light breakfast is available. Guests help themselves to the items we have set out for them the night before, such as cereals, fruit, yogourt, and our own baked goods.
