Location

Located between Mainland British Columbia and Vancouver Island, Salt Spring Island is the largest of the Gulf Islands measuring 182.7 square kilometers (70.5 sq mi).

The island is easily accessible by ferry or floatplane from the cities of Vancouver, Victoria, and Seattle, WA.

Ferry Transportation:

There are three BC Ferries terminals on Salt Spring Island:

• Long Harbour (service to/from Tsawwassen terminal in Vancouver)
• Fulford (direct service to/from Swartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island, with connections to Tsawwassen)
• Vesuvius (direct service to/from Crofton terminal on Vancouver Island)

BC Ferries – Passenger/vehicle service between Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Gulf Islands

Washington State Ferries – Passenger/vehicle service between Anacortes, WA and Sidney, BC.

Victoria Clipper – Passenger service between Seattle, WA and Victoria, BC.

M.V. Coho – Passenger service between Port Angeles, WA and Victoria, BC.

Seaplane Transportation:

Harbour Air Seaplanes - service between Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Salt Spring

Kenmore Air Seaplanes - service between Washington State, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Salt Spring

Saltspring Air –  service between Salt Spring Island, Vancouver International Airport, Downtown Vancouver / Vancouver Harbour, and Maple Bay on Vancouver Island

Seair Seaplanes – service between Vancouver and Salt Spring

From Long Harbour:
Follow Long Harbour Road about 4.5 km to the stop sign at a 3-way intersection. Turn left onto Upper Ganges Rd. Drive about 1 km to another stop sign at Lower Ganges Road (there is a sign here pointing to Ganges). Turn left, and Park Drive will be the first right (a sharp turn). Continue up Park Drive, and we will be on the right hand side at 268 Park Drive.

From Fulford:
Follow the Fulford-Ganges Road north approx. 15 km from the ferry terminal to Ganges. Carry on through Ganges Village on Lower Ganges Rd, and Park Drive will be on your left at the end of town. There is an Anglican Church on the corner. Continue up Park Drive, and we will be on the right hand side at 268 Park Drive.

From Vesuvius:
Follow the Vesuvius Bay Road approx 3 km to the 4-way intersection at Lower Ganges Road (there is a fire hall on your left and a soccer field on your right). Turn right. Drive approx. 4 km into Ganges. Turn right on to Park Drive. There is an Anglican Church on the corner. Continue up Park Drive, and we will be on the right hand side at 268 Park Drive.
