In 2003, Len and Beverly left Manhattan to return to Canada and become the new owners of the Wisteria Guest House. With Beverly's background as a Pastry Chef and Len's long career as a hotelier, taking over the Wisteria was the perfect next step for their combined talents.
In 2017, their daughter Kimoko and husband Joe, became a part of the team with their two young daughters. Along with our friendly pets, we are truly a family business.
As the former Pastry Chef of the Westin Hotel in Manhattan’s Times Square, Beverly knows how to wake up your taste buds with her sumptuous breakfasts.
Our guests often say that our breakfasts are the highlight of their stay! We start off with our first course - often something on the sweeter side. It's like starting with dessert. Then we follow up with a second larger course, preparing you for your day on beautiful Salt Spring Island!
With a total of 9 units, we offer a variety of accommodations to suit your preferences. There are 6 rooms in the main guest house, a self-contained cottage in the garden and 2 studio suites with private entrances.
With a mix of old-fashioned elegance and new warm colors, every room has its own charm. Each room also has its own layout, with a choice of queen, king or twin beds to meet your needs. We also offer select pet-friendly rooms with prior approval.
The Wisteria Guest House, named after the glorious wisteria that cascades through our gardens,
