We're a family business - owned and operated since 2003 by Len, Beverly and (daughter) Kimoko Brown. Len and Beverly Brown have been in the hotel and restaurant industry for over 40 years. Prior to moving to Salt Spring, Len managed a group of boutique hotels in Manhattan while Beverly was the Pastry Chef of the Westin Hotel Times Square. However, after 12 years in the “Big Apple”, they decided it was time to return home to Canada and what better place to live in than beautiful Salt Spring Island!
In May 2017, Kimoko and her husband Joe, also decided to leave New York and move to Salt Spring to help run the B&B. Leaving their busy corporate lives behind, Kimoko and Joe now have more time to spend with their two daughters.
Now with three generations living and working on site - along with our friendly cats and dogs - the Wisteria Guest House is truly a family-operated business. The B&B gives the family the wonderful opportunity to live and work together in a beautiful setting.
